Jeff Durbin and Geoffrey Thomas served as our keynote speakers this year as we focused on “The Assurance of Grace and Salvation” in Brandon, Mississippi, at Grace Baptist Church.

Jeff Durbin is Pastor/Elder of Apologia Church in Tempe, AZ, since it was founded in February of 2010. He worked for many years as a hospital chaplain. Jeff is a popular speaker for camps, conferences, churches & schools across the globe. He has participated in outreach to various religious organizations nationwide and has even engaged in several moderated public debates. Jeff was featured on a series for the History Channel, “The Stoned Ages” which reviewed the Christian approach and philosophy concerning drug and alcohol addiction. Jeff co-hosts Apologia Radio and Apologia TV, both of which garner followers throughout the US and internationally. Both shows are available via Apologia Studios. He also leads Apologia’s ministry, End Abortion Now, whose goal is to criminalize and end abortion through the work of the local church and state legislation.
Jeff is a World Champion martial artist with 5 Black-Belts. He starred in popular video games, movies and tours. He played Michelangelo and Donatello for the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise as well as Johnny Cage in “Mortal Combat” the world-tour. Our younger followers may have even seen him as a fighter in MTV’s “The Final Fu”. Jeff has been married to his bride, Candi, for over 20 years. They have 5-children: Sage (Hope), Immagin (Kyle), Saylor, Stellar, and Augustine, plus 3 grandchildren.
Geoff Thomas was the Pastor of Alfred Place Baptist Church in Aberystwyth, Wales for over 50 years. A ministry in which he preached through (almost) every verse in the Bible.
Geoff received his theological training at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, being especially influenced by the teaching of Professor John Murray, as well as Cornelius Van Til and E.J. Young. They awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2011.
Geoff still contributes regularly to the Banner of Truth Trust website and is the author of several books including The Holy Spirit, published by Reformation Heritage Press. He is a frequent conference speaker all over the world. He also holds the position of Visiting Professor of Historical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Geoff’s wife of over fifty years, Iola, died in 2016. The Lord recently provided him with another companion in Barbara, a dear friend of the family who Geoff married in 2018.
He has three daughters, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
